RED-Alert, a project to combat online terrorist propaganda

A project to combat the terrorist propaganda in the online environment has been launched today in Bucharest.

The RED-Alert project, which will run for the next three years, benefits from European funding and is coordinated by SIVECO Romania, explained project manager Monica Florea.

Monica Florea: RED-Alert is an applied research that targets to develop tools for online analysis and monitoring, to combat terrorism. This project has a duration of three years, a grant of five million euros. The IT tools we develop in the project can be later used by small, large firms, or law enforcement agencies or institutions, to combat terrorism.
