The Ministry of Health recommends wearing a protective mask and respecting the rules of physical distance, even after the booster dose of the vaccine against COVID.
On a social network, the institution's representatives say that the vaccine protects the person who is vaccinated, while the mask helps those who are not yet immunized.
The ministry also states that researchers still do not know if a vaccinated person can pass on the virus.
An increased level of immunity is achieved in about two weeks after the second dose, and during this time, a person can become infected and develop a severe form of COVID-19.
The effectiveness of the vaccine in preventing the disease is 95% for the BioNTech-Pfizer vaccine and 94.1% for Moderna.
