Rail traffic is accomplished with difficulty near Bucharest on Buftea-Peris Section.

CFR Infrastructure Spokeswoman, Oana Brânzan, says that the reason is stealing items of rail traffic control system.

"Unknown persons stole components, such as transformers or coils, which affected the rail traffic.

"Currently, trains run to clear path between Buftea and Peris.

"Clear path means that, on that portion between Buftea and Peris, trains are put on line after checking the field switches, "said Oana Brânzan for Radio Romania Actualitati.

According to CFR spokeswoman, by this time there have been delays of 600 minutes for 20 trains.

"Trains from Moldova, Transylvania and Brasov are affected. In fact, practically all traffic is affected," said Oana Brânzan.

She added that currently, intervention teams are there ongoing work to replace the stolen parts so that the rail traffic to be resumed safely.
