Raed Arafat announced that citizens and institutions will be prepared for risk situations

The earthquakes in Oltenia were felt in 22 localities, in five counties: Gorj, Dolj, Hunedoara, Mehedinti and Valcea, but did not endanger people's lives, State Secretary Raed Arafat said.
He explained that at this moment the aim is to prepare both citizens and institutions so that everyone reacts adequately in such situations.
Several information campaigns have been launched, Raed Arafat also said.
"On the population side, the 'Be Prepared' platform. We are going to come up with the proposal, which we have discussed through the Emergency Situations Committee, whereby access to this platform will be ensured on every public website of a central, county or local institution, so that the population can see the button, be able to access the "Be Prepared" platform, which has all the guidelines for the population on what to do before, during and after a risk, that is, earthquake, flood and other situations", announced Raed Arafat.
