Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company (Radio Romania) and Radio-Television of Slovakia (RTVS) have signed, in Bratislava, on February 8, a cooperation agreement providing exchanging expertise for journalists and collaboration in program production and radio archiving.
Agreement was signed by Georgică Severin, President-Director General of the Romanian Broadcasting Company and by Jaroslav Reznik, Director General of Radio-Television of Slovakia.
A special article of the agreement is dedicated to the support of the Slovak language program, produced and broadcast by the Radio Timişoara Territorial Studio and addressed to the Slovak minority in Romania.
First bilateral agreement between the two media institutions was signed in 1997 in Timişoara, and since then their cooperative relations have continued uninterruptedly, materializing in a series of projects of great importance and cultural impact.
