Radio Romania awarded “Defense Staff’s Emblem of Honor” for support of Army

Minister Mihai Fifor awarded Radio Romania Actualităţi (RRA) the "Defense Partner - Emblem of Merit Ist Class" as a token of appreciation for its constant support in promoting the Romanian Armed Forces.

Radio Romania awarded “Defense Staff’s Emblem of Honor” for support of Army

Romanian Chief of Defense, General Nicolae Ionel Ciucă, is to award, on November 1, the "Defense Staff’s Emblem of Honor" to the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company (Radio Romania – public radio network) for its constant support and promotion of the Romanian Army. High distinction will be offered in a ceremony scheduled for Thursday, 18:00 in the Foyer of the Radio Hall.

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company, several Radio Romania journalists will receive the "Defense Staff’s Emblem of Honor" in recognition of their support of the Romanian Armed Forces.

On Tuesday, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary since the establishment of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Romanian Ministry of Defense, Minister Mihai Fifor awarded Radio Romania Actualităţi (RRA-Radio Romania News) the "Defense Partner - Emblem of Merit Ist Class" as a token of appreciation for its constant support in promoting the Romanian Armed Forces. High distinction was given on the occasion of the 90th anniversary since the establishment of the public radio station.

Radio Romania Actualităţi (RRA -Radio Romania News) is the only media institution that received this high distinction by 1 November 2018.

Ministry of Defense also awarded the “Romanian Armed Forces’ Emblem of Honor” to RRA journalists Ruxandra Săraru and Radu Dobriţoiu.
