Qatar invests in Bulgaria
Along with Turkey, Qatar is willing to finance the modernization and the extension of the international road Ruse - Veliko Târnovo –the frontier with Turkey and Greece, with a length of 300 kilometers.

Foreign investments in Bulgaria have resumed after two years of decrease on increasing, announced, last days, the Bulgarian authorities.
Bulgaria seems to make major progress, especially on the financial part of infrastructure. There, the rhythm of working overcomes that from Romania.
Moreover, Bulgaria manages to beneficiate also from important resources of foreign financing.
On Friday, at Varna, prime-ministers of Bulgaria, Turkey and Qatar could sign projects of common investments, from a pipeline to the extension with two directions on the roads from the north-south ax.
Prime-ministers of Bulgaria, Turkey and Qatar meet today near Varna.
On the agenda there are joint investment projects –a pipeline and the extension with two lanes of some roads that crosses Bulgaria from the north to south.
Qatar has deposited at the National Bank 200 million dollars for financing the projects, announced Prime-Minister Boiko Borisov.
Money will be invested in infrastructure, in Bulgarian tourism and agriculture.
Prime-minister of Qatar and the minister of Foreign Affairs, sheik Hamad bin Jasem Al Thani declared that Bulgaria is very attractive for investitures from his country and addressed praises to his counterpart, Borisov.
The today reunion was preceded by many meetings at expert level. The companies from Qatar could become sponsors of the national tennis team, announced Borisov.

Every day, on this route 7,000 cars pass, of which half of them are heavy trucks. The minister of regional development, Liana Popova, declared that the project could be completed within the next three years, after the Calafat-Vidin bridge construction ends in November.
Bulgaria will try to obtain European financing for a bridge in the area Călăraşi-Silistra.
