The Social Democratic Party removes from the electoral lists for the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies any person who might have legal problems.
The decision was taken unanimously today at the National Political Council and aims to promote candidates without integrity problems, PSD spokesman Lucian Romascanu explained.
Lucian Romascanu: Initially, the idea was that there should be no legal actions related to corruption or corruption-like issues. We have extended this to areas of incompatibility. So, at this point, the Social Democratic Party will come to the voters with lists made up of people who have no legal problems of any kind.
