The PSD-PNL electoral alliance will submit on Friday, 5 April, to the Central Electoral Office the joint list of candidates for the European Parliament elections on 9 June, which is opened by Mihai Tudose, followed by Rares Bogdan.
The Liberals, who met today, validated several candidates for the local elections, also on 9 June. Several candidacies are still under discussion, including those from Bacau and Prahova counties.
As for the Prahova PNL organisation's request to nominate Iulian Dumitrescu, who is under judicial control, for a new mandate as head of the county council, PNL first vice-president Rares Bogdan says a decision will be taken by 30 April, the deadline for submitting lists for the local elections:
"We will call the members of the Honour and Arbitration Commission, the Legal Commission and we will analyse the file extremely carefully, after talking to the leaders of the Prahova branch, one of the most powerful of the National Liberal Party, which is making investments of 3 billion in Prahova county. Never in the last 34 years have there been such investments started. I am sure that the people of Prahova will come and support the winner of the county", said Rares Bogdan.
