PSD and PNL announce that, at the beginning of next week, the law eliminating special pensions for parliamentarians will be adopted

PSD and PNL decided in the coalition meeting that next week, Monday, June 26, the parliamentarians will adopt in a joint plenary the law that eliminates the special pensions for senators and deputies.

Also, a calendar was established for the adoption of the law on the elimination of special pensions for the other social categories.

This could pass the Chamber of Deputies, which is the decision-making body, also next week. The adoption of the law is important, because it represents a milestone that Romania must respect in order to receive European funds through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
