The Liberals accuse the Social Democrats of blocking, once again, the PNL bill on the indexation of military pensions. PNL group leader Gabriel Andronache says that the draft has not yet been assigned to the rapporteur committees, as PSD has asked the government for a point of view, an unjustified procedure according to the Liberals:

"They have now invented a new procedure, namely, they blocked the draft at the Permanent Bureau. It didn't even reach the rapporteur committees, arguing that the government's point of view should be given first. Here is the procedure on the Chamber of Deputies' website, never before has such a procedure been applied. The draft was sent to the rapporteur committees, and the rapporteur committees started the debate, even if the Government did not give its point of view", said Gabriel Andronache.

The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Daniel Suciu, recently said that PSD supports the draft law on military pensions, but it needs to be debated in several parliamentary committees, because it has a "not negligible" financial impact.
