Projects for the modernization of several tram lines in Bucharest

The City Hall of the Capital approved today the projects for the modernization of several tram lines in Bucharest, basically, the last 52 kilometers of track on which, gradually, the 100 new trams, bought from the factory in Arad, are to be introduced.
The modernization costs over 200 million lei and is mandatory, according to the contract by which the City Hall received European funding for these trams.
The General Council approved several projects for the modernization of subordinate hospitals, for obtaining fire authorizations from ISU (General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations) and a project by which cosmonaut Dumitru Prunariu is granted the title of honorary citizen of the Municipality of Bucharest.
