Prime Minister wants to discuss proposed measures in cases of academic abuse

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu will have a discussion with the Minister of Education tomorrow morning on proposed measures to limit cases of sexual abuse and harassment in the university environment, in the context of the recent scandal that has in the foreground professors from SNSPA.

Marcel Ciolacu recalled that an inter-ministerial working team has been set up and gave assurances that no one is backing down.

At last week's government meeting, he asked Ligia Deca to come up with proposals to complete and amend the legislation so that victims can be effectively protected and perpetrators can be swiftly brought to justice.
