RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Digitization is the key to reducing bureaucracy and will facilitate Romania's transition to a more secure and dynamic economy - said Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca during a meeting at Victoria Palace with Google Vice President Karan Bhatia.
The main topics discussed were the consequences of the Russian military aggression in Ukraine, the threats in the field of cyber security and related to misinformation, the digital transformation of Romania and the importance of the transatlantic partnership.
The important role of Romania in the region as a pillar of stability was highlighted both within NATO and in the European Union.
The strengthening of Google's presence in Romania and the local development will contribute to the consolidation of the Transatlantic partnership and to the dynamization of the research-development processes in Romania - the prime minister added.
