A hundred years after the Romanian Army's victories in the battles of Mărăşeşti, Mărăşti and Oituz, Romania represents a pole of stability in the region, and the Romanian Army enjoys the appreciation and respect of both its own citizens and allies - Prime Minister Mihai Tudose considers in a message addressed on the Romanian Army Day, 25 October.

The Head of the Romanian Government expresses gratitude and appreciation to the Romanian military, who through sacrifice, courage and devotion ensures territorial security and integrity.

Romanian troops are highly appreciated within NATO missions, Romania being an ally very much appreciated for professionalism, and for the fact that it respects its commitments, Tudose says.

Allocation of 2% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for Defense is a reality that opens new opportunities for Romania, Tudose also estimates.

Important steps have been taken to revitalize the Romanian Defense industry, and collaboration protocols have already been signed between the Bucharest Government and large arms-producing companies that are coming to invest in Romania.

According to Prime Minister Mihai Tudose, the Government has been, is and will always be an unconditional partner of the Romanian Armed Forces.

Acum, la 100 de ani distanță, România reprezintă un pol de stabilitate în regiune, lucru vizibil și prin încrederea...
