Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu ordered check-ups at national level regarding the operation of LPG stations

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu ordered today controls at national level regarding the fulfillment of the authorization and operation conditions of all LPG stations. The decision comes as a result of the tragedy that happened two days ago in Crevedia.

In this sense, Deputy Prime Minister Catalin Predoiu, Minister of Internal Affairs, will sign an order authorizing prefects to set up and coordinate mixed control teams made up of representatives of institutions with attributions in the field.

The Ministry of the Interior will periodically communicate the results of these checks and will make available to the criminal investigation bodies any evidence related to possible illegalities - it is mentioned in a government statement.
