Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu: Message of congratulations to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu sent on Tuesday a message of congratulations - on behalf of himself and the government - to all citizens of the Republic of Moldova on the anniversary of Independence Day.

In a post on the executive's Facebook page, he reassured his counterpart, Dorin Recean, that Romania will continue to be in the future, as it has been so far, at the forefront of efforts to consolidate the European path, stability and democratic development of the neighboring country.

We speak the same language, we have the same culture and history - wrote the Romanian Prime Minister, who added that Moldova's place is in the European Union and said he was convinced that voters will reaffirm this truth in the referendum on October 20.
