Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu had a phone call with US President-elect Donald Trump

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced that on Tuesday evening he had a very good telephone conversation with the President-elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump, to whom he told that he shares his pragmatic vision. The Prime Minister recalled that he wants the United States to become Romania's main investor and trading partner outside the European Union.
Marcel Ciolacu also recalled that he has taken significant steps to increase the military budget to 2.5% of GDP. The Prime Minister pointed out in an internet posting that under the Trump administration the strategic partnership with the United States of America will go to a new level, so that the large American capital will be brought into the Romanian economy, to allow the modernization of the army and the development of the national armament industry.
