Priests in countryside will help farmers

Over 7,000 priests serving in countryside churches across the country will teach farmers how to apply for the European funds.

Recently, the Romanian Orthodox Church has committed, in a cooperation deal concluded with the Agriculture Ministry, to support farmers in this respect.

The Government hopes farmers will understand better how they can obtain community funds and use them properly.

Priests will talk to villagers and explain them the importance of farming and how necessary farms are for the development of rural communities.
