Candidates will be free to ask their questions directly and the discussions would be held in either Romanian or Russian, depending on their preference.
The debate will begin with a greeting to the citizens, followed by 10 questions each, and will conclude with an appeal to the citizens.
The questions will last a maximum of one minute. The answers should not exceed 2 minutes and will be followed by one-minute replies.
The time will be measured by the candidates' teams and the microphones will be automatically cut off when the time runs out.
The incumbent president, pro-European Maia Sandu, won almost 43% of the vote in the first round.
Alexandr Stoianoglo, the former prosecutor-general who was dismissed by Ms. Sandu herself following a corruption scandal, enters the second round next Sunday after receiving 26% of the vote in the first round.
