Presidential adviser Bogdan Aurescu, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, was voted a judge at the International Court of Justice on Thursday.
"Honored to be elected today as a judge of the UN International Court of Justice by the UN General Assembly with 117 votes and the UN Security Council with 9 votes, being the first Romanian to fulfill this position", wrote Bogdan Aurescu, on Thursday, on the X platform (Twitter), according to Agerpres.
