President of Romania at the UN General Assembly in New York

President Klaus Iohannis represents Romania at the General Assembly of the United Nations, which takes place in New York.
This year's theme is "Galvanizing multilateral efforts for poverty eradication, quality education, climate action and inclusion".
Klaus Iohannis will express Romania's support for a multilateral management of the main global challenges and will address the UN General Assembly on September 25.
President of Romania will also attend the high-level political forum on accelerating implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and will have a series of bilateral meetings, in the margins of the UN General Assembly.
