President Maia Sandu invites Moldovans to participate next Sunday in the "European Moldova" Assembly

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, invites her fellow citizens to participate next Sunday in the "European Moldova" Assembly, which will take place in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau.

"It takes everyone to put Moldova on the right path, the European path," says President Maia Sandu in a video message published on Facebook.

Last year, on March 3, shortly after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova submitted an application to join the European Union, and three months later it received the status of a candidate country.

Chisinau would now like to actually start accession negotiations.
