President Klaus Iohannis will attend the European Council meeting in Brussels tomorrow and Friday.
On the agenda of the meeting are, again, European coordination in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the process of economic recovery of the Union and the management of the phenomenon of migration and the relationship with Russia.
The President of Romania will also participate in the Euro Summit in an extended format, which will address the economic challenges for the Eurozone in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the progress regarding the banking union and the capital markets union.
The state leaders will also have a meeting with the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, reconfirmed for a new five-year term at the helm of the organization.
