President Klaus Iohannis promulgated the three justice laws voted in Parliament

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - President Klaus Iohannis promulgated on Tuesday the three laws of justice voted in parliament by the PSD-PNL-UDMR coalition, without taking into account the request of the opposition and several non-governmental organizations to wait for the point of view of the Venice Commission. They claim that Romania risks remaining under the monitoring and verification mechanism and not being accepted in the Schengen Area, since, in its current form, the laws of justice would violate the independence of magistrates and do not respect the previous opinions of the Venice Commission. The justice laws were promoted by Minister Catalin Predoiu and passed through parliament in an accelerated procedure.
