The requests of employees from abroad are justified, given the still quite high inflation, and the salary must appear in the national grid that must be updated, said President Klaus Iohannis. He also stated that he will insist that the Ministry of Labor work faster on the new salary bill, and that the grids made for education be ones that meet the needs of the system.

Klaus Iohannis: If we want to have very good quality education in Romania, then we must have all the conditions, not just modern schools, well-equipped classrooms, well-equipped offices. We must also take care of those who make up the young generation, that is, we must take care of the teachers, that they have the conditions to do their job properly, among which a very important one is, obviously, the salary, so the teachers must be paid according to their true value. Here I prove them right.

President Klaus Iohannis also stated that the subject of salary increases in education appeared in the public space artificially mixed with debates on education laws.
