President Iohannis, message for those affected by floods

President Klaus Iohannis has sent condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the floods today and a message of solidarity to all those affected.
He assures that the authorities and rescue teams have mobilized all available resources to intervene quickly and efficiently.
In this context, the Head of State recalls the risks generated by climate change and emphasizes that measures are needed to reduce the impact of extreme weather phenomena, but also to improve the capacity to anticipate them, to alert the population and to respond effectively in such cases.
Equally, says President Klaus Iohannis, it is very important for citizens to follow and respect the warnings issued by meteorologists, which can prevent loss of life and significant material damage.
