President Iohannis announces themes for May 26 referendum on Justice

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis has announced the themes for the May 26 referendum.

The two topics that will be subject to public consultation are:

1 Prohibition of amnesty and pardon for corruption offenses,

2. Interdiction for the Government to adopt emergency ordinances in the field of criminal offenses, punishments and judicial organization, correlated with the right of other constitutional authorities to directly notify the Constitutional Court on emergency ordinances.
