At the farm in question were taken cleaning and disinfecting measures and the restocking with birds will be made only when the laboratory analysis will show that there was no danger of contamination.
Since 2007, the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority implemented a Salmonella control program - pathogens agents that can seriously affect human health.
The most common symptoms of Salmonella infection such as nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting, occurring usually in 12-72 hours after ingestion of contaminated food.
