Political battle "ended"
Interim President, Crin Antonescu, said, after CCR has decided to postpone a verdict on that referendum, political and electoral campaign battle "ended".

Interim President, Crin Antonescu, made it clear on Thursday evening, according to a statement from the Cotroceni Palace, that he took note of the decision of the Constitutional Court, even if it means an unexpected postponement of the verdict.
"I think beyond compliance with this decision, we should also include the one thing that it is necessary to encourage: this delay arises from the CCR’s belief that in the democratic process counts every vote," said Crin Antonescu.
Suspended President Traian Băsescu did not make any statement until Thursday evening at 21, concerning the decision of CCR.
The interim President has claimed that a merit for the beneficial development the press has it , public opinion in Romania that have discussed all these days in responsible terms, even if sometimes passionate, about things that concern society as destiny.
Crin Antonescu wanted to clarify held that we will have a final decision on the referendum on September 12, when we will know whether we have elections or not.
"That does not mean that it will continue an electoral campaign or that Romania passes through up then a period of instability.
"In Romania there is a legitimate Government, a Parliament, the presidential institution fully legitimate, even under the interim title.
"From the point of view of political battle, the referendum passed," said interim President.
He added that the political battle will begin towards the end of autumn when elections will be held and, in his opinion, quite likely, presidential elections.
Crin Antonescu has also said that international financial institutions, political international have in Romania fully qualified officials and legitimate.
Interim President ended his statement thanking everyone who came forward and stated that Romania is a democratic country, in which the balance of power is respected and functional, "a country that is able to think with optimism and confidence in the future".

The Government took note of the CCR’s announcement concerning the referendum held on 29 July and will meet Friday to take the executive measures necessary for to implement requests from CCR, says Prime Minister Victor Ponta, in a statement sent Thursday to Agerpres.
"We believe that it is a correct decision and announce the intention of the Government to respect fully the decision, just as we respect the civic commitment and exemplary mobilisation shown by Romanians, when democratic mechanisms and procedures have been asked to make their voice heard through voting ', says Prime Minister Victor Ponta.
Prime Minister Victor Ponta has asked the parties involved in the current political conflict to refrain from any form of public pressure or directly to the Constitutional Court or to the judges of this institution.
"The Romanian Government will meet during the day of Friday, to take the necessary measures for implementing the requests from the Constitutional Court.
"Tomorrow will take place even at 12.00 at Government, discussions with all institutions responsible for the updating of electoral lists and this process will be done in full transparency and legality," said Ponta.
PDL President, Vasile Blaga , demanded on Thursday the resignation of honour of Executive Ponta, claiming that the current Government are guilty of that CCR was put in a situation to defer a decision on the referendum of 29 July.
The leader of PDL said that USL went to the second stage of the "coup".
"PDL has never challenged the decisions of the Constitutional Court. How USL challenged the Constitutional Court within its own referendum in Romania extends the political crisis triggered by USL, with another 40 days.
"The decision is not in any way attributable to the CCR judges, but USL government who actually mocks at Romanians, the laws of the State, at the rule of law," said Blaga.

The magistrates of the Constitutional Court delayed, according to judicial sources, quoted by the Radio Romania Actualități reporter Mădălina Verman, delivering a decision on the validity or invalidity of the referendum for dismissal the suspended President Traian Băsescu.
According to judicial sources in the Constitutional Court, the magistrates have postponed the debate until the CCR on September 12.
The decision was taken to check all lists from the County Election Offices.
"In view of the conflicting data which were submitted to the Constitutional Court with regard to the number of persons on the electoral lists by the public authorities concerned, the Constitutional Court has asked the Government of Romania that, until August 31, 2012, to submit the updated electoral lists in which the referendum was held on July 29, 2012", shown in CCR release.
In the CCR press release also is specified , following deliberations, the Court dismissed, unanimously, as unfounded, the complaints concerning the observance of the procedure for the organization and conduct of the referendum on 29 July 2012 for the dismissal of the President of Romania, Traian Băsescu, the complaints formulated by the International League of the Romanians, located in Bucharest, Romania, PSD and PNL, President of the Chamber of Deputies and interim President of Senate, Gheorghe Hogea and Organization for Protection of Human Rights located in Bucharest.
The decision is final and general mandatory.
CCR judges decisions were announced after several hours of consultations.
Judge of the Constitutional Court, Aspazia Cojocaru said that in her view "would be canceled the referendum because it was based on false data.
The President of the Constitutional Court of Romania, Augustin Zegrean said Thursday before the start of the debate on the referendum, that called on the National Institute of Statistics to report if it has data on the number of citizens eligible to vote.
