Ilfov police officers discovered, in Lake Pantelimon, the pistol and cartridges reported stolen from the home of a former Romanian Intelligence Service officer, located in the city of Voluntari.
"Following the evidence, on 30 January, Ilfov Criminal Investigation Service officers issued a warrant for the arrest of a 24-year-old man, who was taken to Ilfov IPJ headquarters for investigation. On the same date, the man was presented with a proposal for preventive arrest to the prosecutor of the Buftea Public Prosecutor's Office, who referred the case to the judge of rights and freedoms, and the preventive arrest for 30 days was ordered", the press office of the Ilfov IPJ informed on Wednesday.
Ilfov Criminal Investigation Service police officers, together with divers from ISUBIF, conducted a search for the gun and related ammunition, and on 30 January they discovered the gun and cartridges reported stolen from the house in Voluntari, Agerpres reports.
