Platform for Democracy, Prosperity and Progress launched

The Platform for Democracy, Prosperity and Progress, which brings together the REPER, ACUM and DEMOS parties, as well as independent candidates, has been launched ahead of this year's parliamentary elections.
"People first is not just a campaign slogan, it is basically the purpose of this platform", said REPER co-president Dragos Pislaru.
Dragos Pislaru: We have, indeed, as a priority that forgotten Romania, a Romania that is marked by poverty, a Romania in which the middle class has been strongly affected by what has happened, a Romania that is looking for some representatives on this liberal-progressive area and cannot find them. For all these people who are waiting for a policy that emphasizes people, we have this platform for democracy, prosperity and social progress.
