People who have septic tanks in their households must have them registered at the town hall by November 26, warns the Environmental Guard.
The obligation is valid both for existing ditches and for those that are under construction. The institution draws attention to the fact that fines of up to 10.000 lei will be applied in the event that, following the notification of water table pollution, individuals or legal entities will be found using a septic tank, while not having them registered.
Registration is done through a form made available by the town hall, which will be completed either online, on the institutions' websites, or physically, at their headquarters.
