PDL accuses the power of worsening the situation in agriculture and demand the resignation of Minister Daniel Constantin.
Many of the commitments made by USL five months ago remained at the stage of electoral promises, said the Agriculture Committee chairman, PDL deputy Adrian Radulescu.
"First promise: farmers’ access to irrigation water, facilitating the purchase of electricity, rehabilitation of irrigation infrastructure financed from EU funds. Accomplishment: zero. Creating a Loan Fund beneficiaries of RDP projects.
"The Emergency Ordinance was found by the Minister there, and so remained. Another promise was combating the tax evasion through medium and long-term support of a reduced VAT closely with the finance ministry," said Adrian Radulescu.
Agriculture Minister, Daniel Constantin, said last week in a statement for Agerpres that the motion announced by PDL is a good opportunity to present the parliament the created problems in the sector by the liberal-democrats, but also good things started in this period for agriculture.
"I can not wait to tell the Parliament how PDL robbed the irrigation system in Romania, how they fired 3,000 people from the land reclamation system and also how they outsourced all the services that the Land Development Agency must provide with its own staff," said Daniel Constantin.
Today, the Chamber of Deputies will debate and vote the motion on education initiated by the PDL.
