Persons who live in the capital city can take a census through a partial on-line system, on the internet page of the census starting Friday at 12, the chief of the Direction of Census from the National Institute of Statistics, Ştefan Trică, declared.
The form can be downloaded from the site of the census, has to be filled out and carried by mail or personally deposed at the sector city hall.
“One has to access the census page, recensamantromania.ro, and then go to the tool section where one can download the forms”.
“These forms will be completed, and then each person will choose several variants: one-to be transmitted by mail, two- to scan the forms and then transmit them by e-mail to the sector city halls and three- can take the filled forms to the town hall”, Ştefan Trică declared.
For a correct declaration of the characteristics that the census fallows, each person is asked to consult the forms guide and the manual for the census personnel.
The measure is applied only for the capital city, where many persons are not found at home, and the censors have to return several times.
The Central Commission for the People and Houses Census recommends those who live in Bucharest and have not yet been contacted by a censor to use the auto-censoring.
The recommendation has been made “to intensify the data registering rhythm in order to complete the census of all persons and the entire total of houses until the 31st of October”, a press release of the National Institute of Statistics shows on Thursday.
According to the Direction of Census, Bucharest has the lower percentage of censored houses, of 51.34 percent.
