Overtaxing of part-time work contracts and the risk of unemployment

Tax consultants warn that the overtaxing of part-time work contracts from the perspective of social contributions will lead to the termination of a significant number of contracts and implicitly to an increase in the unemployment rate.
In an open letter sent to the Minister of Finance, they claim that the measure encourages illegal work, does not take into account the realities of the labor market and practically intervenes in the way entrepreneurs organize their businesses by forcing the labor cost up.
The Chamber of Fiscal Consultants proposes to the authorities in return the application of a calculation basis for CAS and CASS according to the earned salary, and not according to the minimum gross salary per country, at the same time improving and possibly tightening the sanctioning legislation regarding undeclared work.
