The Social-Democratic Party is still leading in the voters' preferences, almost 38% of the subjects saying they would vote for this party.
According to a recent opinion poll conducted by the Political Rating Agency, over 56% of those interviewed would vote for the Social-Liberal Union in general elections.
The survey also shows the main political parties and alliances that made it to the Parliament after the elections last December would lose 4 to 6% of the votes.
Meanwhile, the opposition Democratic-Liberal Party, the newly created Justice and Truth alliance and the People's Movement would be voted by around 18,5% of the subjects, consistent with the votes cast in favour of DLP in the last few years.
Over two thirds of those questioned consider Romania is heading in the right direction, that is 17% more than in July 2012.
