"Calea Dacia", as was named the investment of approximately 6 million euros from amount provided up to 80 percent from European funds , is considered by specialists as unique in Europe having two separate bridges held on steel balls which gives increased safety in an earthquake and overloading.
At the opening traffic ceremony were present, along local authorities, the Regional Development and Tourism Minister, Cristian Petrescu and the Chamber of Deputies President Roberta Anastase.
"Without European finance we would not have been performed such an investment." said the Regional Development and Tourism Minister Cristian Petrescu.
Unfortunately, during this period, no local budget can invest such large amounts, no matter how important would be a community project.
The bridge from Câmpina will reduce the waiting period for the entry into the National Road 1(DN1) from about 10 minutes to just 29 seconds.
In the area the average traffic is 23,000 cars in 24 hours.
The new road system will also reduce the risk of traffic accidents, reason why that crossroad with the highway is known as a "black spot", due to large number of road accidents summoned with victims.
