"Only one participant from the pilot concerts became infected with Covid"

Only one of the more than 1.300 people who participated in the pilot events held last month tested positive for coronavirus, the Ministry of Culture said in a statement, adding that this unique case is not statistically relevant or representative of the four events that took place in Bucharest and Cluj Napoca, and that it is very possible that the infection occurred at a later date.

Tickets for the shows were purchased exclusively online, and people who had been vaccinated against COVID-19, who had recently gone through the disease or had a negative SARS-COV-2 test, performed no more than three days before the shows, had access to the halls.

The occupancy rate of the halls was at most 70%, and wearing protective masks was mandatory.

All participants left their contact info in order to be monitored later.
