Only 175 available Intensive Care beds left in Romania

A total of 1.024 Intensive Care beds were available to COVID-19 patients across the country, according to data released by the Strategic Communication Group. Of these, 849 were occupied by patients, 18 of whom being minors in serious condition.
In Bucharest, there were 184 Intensive Care beds for COVID-19 patients, 133 now being occupied.
From these data it results that 175 beds are still available in the country, out of which 51 in the Capital.
Authorities say some of the ICU beds are reserved specifically for people with certain medical conditions and who are confirmed with the new coronavirus.
