Official visit of the Minister of Defense, Angel Tilvar, to the Republic of Moldova

The Minister of Defense, Angel Tilvar, is making an official visit to the Republic of Moldova today, where he will meet with his counterpart, Anatolie Nosatii.
The two will discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of defense, but also the challenges generated by Russia's aggression in Ukraine, according to a press release from the Ministry of Defense.
After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, officials from Chisinau expressed concerns about the security of the Republic of Moldova and accused Russia of waging a hybrid war against it.
At the same time, last spring, a military map that appeared in a recording with the president of Belarus, Alexandr Lukashenko, showed Moldova as a target of Russian forces.
