Constanţa County will have five border crossing points in Bulgaria starting from the middle of August. Two new border checkpoints will be opened, due to a substantial increase in the number of tourists traveling to Bulgaria, or in Turkey and Greece.
Traffic through the border points in Constanţa County has increased substantially compared to the past years, and the most crowded place is still the crossing point from Vama Veche.
This is becoming more and more crowded, especially during the weekend, when the car stop time is over 30-40 minutes, although the transit has been extended with another corridor.
Starting from the middle of August, however, the border crossing points from Libniţa and Dobromir will be open.
They will become operational, so besides Vama Veche, Negru Vodă and Ostrov, there will be two more points that will decongest traffic to and from Bulgaria.
