Romania and the Republic of Moldova have concluded an agreement under which they will open a new border crossing point. According to the memorandum approved on Thursday by the government in Bucharest, the new crossing point will be between the localities Bumbata, from Vaslui county, and Leova, from the Republic of Moldova.
Authorities say the customs point will streamline traffic between the two countries. Romania currently has nine border crossing points with the Republic of Moldova, six roads and three railways in the counties of Iasi, Vaslui, Botosani and Galati.
