New American ships in the Black Sea
Joe Biden said that the American leadership has assigned extra strategic planners to help NATO meet the goal of finalizing contingency plans for the Black Sea allies.

"In the next days, new American ships will arrive in the Black Sea, for military exercises" stated the American vicepresident, Joe Biden, in a speech before American and Romanian troops, in Romania.
Joe Biden also announced that the American leadership has assigned extra strategic planners to help NATO meet the goal of finalizing contingency plans for the Black Sea allies by the NATO summit in autumn.
"So long as Russia's efforts to destabilize Ukraine continue, we must remain resolute in imposing together greater costs on Russia", said Joe Biden.
The Vice President discusses with the Romanian leadership the international community’s response to Russia’s illegal military intervention and destabilizing actions in Ukraine.
The Vice President also wants to address the need to deepen economic ties, including through the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) and Romania's role in energy security.
