Negotiations at Cotroceni
Parliamentary political parties will present on Monday at Cotroceni their views on the appointment of the new premier.

The new parliamentary majority resulting from legislative elections on December 9, wants the premiership to be occupied by Victor Ponta.
Some of the other political parties in the new Legislative Council will support this proposal, while others will oppose.
The parliamentary parties will present on Monday at Cotroceni their views on this subject, at the consultations convened by President Traian Basescu.
Democrat-liberals don't go with a proposal of Prime Minister at the Cotroceni Palace consultations, says PDL Bucharest President Intermar Adriean Videanu.
"The PDL has common sense and will not go to negotiations with any proposal of Prime Minister," said Adriean Videanu.
Kelemen Hunor, UDMR President stresses that the right solution to be adopted by President Traian Basescu is the nomination of Victor Ponta as premier.
"Those who have won elections have every right to come up with the proposal for the premiership and to form the government ," said Hunor.
The representatives of the people of Dan Diaconescu indicates that, with the nomination of Victor Ponta as Prime Minister, President Traian Basescu would have to resign because he stated repeatedly that he will not accept such a proposal.
The vote on December 9 shows that Romanians want Victor Ponta as a Prime Minister, say the other representatives of the USL.
"I appreciate that Traian Basescu will allow the Parliament shortly, within a week, to have a Prime Minister in the person of Mr Victor Ponta and we can set up the Government so that we can prepare the draft budget for next year," said the President of the Chamber of Deputies, the social-democrat Valeriu Zgonea.
The leader of the parliamentary group of the national minorities, Varujan Pambuccian declared that the proposed candidate of those who have won the election is supported by this parliamentary group.
