NBR has lowered its inflation forecast for the end of this year

The National Bank has significantly lowered its inflation forecast for the end of this year, from 4.9 to 4 percent, and for the end of next year it has lowered it slightly from 3.5 to 3.4 percent.
Basically, the NBR expects the annual inflation rate to fall to significantly lower than forecast at the end of this year and in the first three months of 2025.
At the same time, after a temporary increase in the second quarter of 2025, inflation is expected to rebound and remain slightly below the upper end of the target range of 3.5 percent, the central bank also estimates.
