NATO's Rasmussen in Bucharest for talks with Romanian official
In an interview for Radio Romania, Anders Fogh Rasmussen shares Romania's stand that a legal basis for the future NATO led training mission in Afganistan, after 2014, is needed.

NATO's Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen is to meet, in Bucharest, with presidnet Traian Basescu, prime-minister Victor Ponta and Romanian ministers for Foreign Affairs and Defence.
In an interview for Radio Romania, Anders Fogh Rasmussen shares Romania's stand that a legal basis for the future NATO led training mission in Afganistan, after 2014, is needed. NATO's SG stated that it is important for the international community to agree with the afghan authorities on the status, in Afghanistan, of the international trainers and troops, so that they are legally protected.
Anders Fogh Rasmussen also thanked Romania for its contribution to the peace effort in Afghanistan.
