National strategy for sports

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Eduard Novak, together with Deputy Prime Minister Kelemen Hunor, discussed today at Cotroceni Palace with President Klaus Iohannis the national strategy for sport, whose goal is to place Romania, by 2032, in the top 15 nations in terms of sports results.
The strategy will be presented to the Romanian Parliament at the end of this year and will be elaborated by a commission of specialists.
The document will include ideas adapted from the experience in the field of neighboring countries, such as Hungary, Slovenia or Austria.
The president also had recent meetings with PNL ministers, as well as with Deputy Prime Minister Dan Barna and USR PLUS representatives.
