Why does the state want higher taxation of companies, we find out from România Liberă where it is shown that the Economy Ministry hopes to complete the loss of the state budget.

Evenimentul Zilei believes, however, that Romanian oil employees are emotionally hired, especially Petrom in order to accept debts increase. Under the heading „Oil people money back”, Jurnalul Naţional’s columnist speaks about exorbitant profits obtained by charging unreasonably high prices.

Most newspapers also refer to the Greek banking chaos. In Bursa, we read the statement of the Romania National Bank(BNR) official, Nicolae Cinteză, according to which there was no information that Greek banks had withdrawn money from Romania.

Ziarul Financiar quotes the Fin Minister, Florin Georgescu, convinced that the authorities will not have to use the bridge bank, recently introduced tool by the central bank for banks when in difficulty.

Under the heading "Empty bag strikes panic into”, Adevărul presents a survey according to which the stomach aches, insomnia or even depression are some of the effects that can be felt by those who are stressed because of the debts.

România Liberă claims that the new Minister of Education, until two days ago a union leader, could be in conflict of interest if he makes a favorable decision to education unions, which at the moment is in process with the ministry.

Jurnalul Naţional tells us that drug manufacturers require the suspension of the clawback tax. Companies say they are threatened by bankruptcy because they would have been charged by the former leadership of the Social Fund including expired or inexistent new drugs.

Under the headline „Gold Garbage”, Evenimentul Zilei writes on the front page, about auction from Bacau for tendering of the two waste landfills.

The company favoured by the City Hall would have won with a dumping offer, and then would have inflated its accounts of money obtained from overstatement services.
The story of a huge failure: the failure of Mercedes investment, we find in România Liberă in the series dedicated to the investment scenes of the car manufacturer Daimler-Benz in Hungary, to Romania’s damage.

Before the tonight Steaua-Dinamo derby, Adevărul writes that red-white

are already champions regarding the money obtained from the sale of tickets to matches played at the National Arena. These would have brought to Gigi Becali over 3 million Euros.
