"National Bank starts to fear of the foreign capital exit on the market," writes Ziarul Financiar.
Reducing the exposure of parent banks from the euro area on the Romanian market is one of the big risks taken into account in the last report of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) on inflation.
The necessary funding for economic recovery and foreign exchange rate would suffer. Vulnerability is high because the banks from the euro area control over 80 percent of the banking system.
Many of them go through processes of restructuring, some risk to be nationalized or, simply, maintaining funding on Romanian market is not on their list of priorities.
In Jurnalul Naţional we read that "every Romanian owes 5,000 Euros. The pace of Romania's debts is still higher than the production value."
Investment, exports and EU funds do not compensate the public or private loans. 5,000 Euros per inhabitant does not seem a large sum, but per taxpayer, would be 25,000 Euros - more awful compared to Gross Domestic Product (PIB). Romania's total foreign debt was 98.4 billion late last year. Amount of which 70 billion debts is not Romania’s, but banks and foreign companies that have borrowed from abroad. It presses, however, on Romanians’ shoulders and our currency. .
The plan to combat the tax evasion makes the first steps. "Why do millionaires receive letter from Romania’s Tax Authority (ANAF)", we read in România Liberă. 350 of rich businessmen have already received it.
They are reminded to pay their state taxes according to the income in the country or abroad. Tax Authority(ANAF) says it is interested primarily in catching the large fish that have shares in offshore companies or accounts abroad and have forgot to declare their interest. Those who do not declare the interest will be visited by inspectors.
Adevărul writes that "Nastase wins again time for the price of 2,000 lei. Judges and lawyers who defend Adrian Nastase in the Quality Trophy file argued for hours on a request for a postponing request for a new term. Lawyers have won." 2,000 lei is the fine that has received the politician’s lawyer to delay the process. The goal seems well defined, believes Adevărul, because it would not be long before they would prescribe the facts.
Evenimentul Zilei argues that "Prime-Minister has all the evidence to keep his word: dismissal of Minister of Education, serial plagiarist." At least three of Ioan Mang’s works were taken by copy-paste from foreign scientists’ articles –plagiarized confirmed by the authors of works. Surprisingly, Ioan Mang has stolen also with mistakes, also sustains Evenimentul Zilei. One of the researchers told for the newspaper that the content from the manuscript is wrong and came online by error.
